Gold futures rose during the US session

Gold futures rose during the US session on Monday.

According to the COMEX ranking of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures were traded in December at USD1908.05 an ounce at the time of writing, up 0.09%.

It previously traded at a session high USD1922.75 an ounce. Gold may find support points at USD1885.00 and resistance at USD1922.75.

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the greenback against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.30% to trade at USD93.395.

Meanwhile on the COMEX, the price of silver for the month of December increased by 0.50% to be traded at USD24.527 per ounce, while the price of copper for the month of December increased by 0.43% to be traded at USD3.0808 per pound.
