Gold futures rose during the US session
According to the Comex rating of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures contracts in June were trading at USD1,815.22 an ounce at the time of writing, up 0.39%.
The session was already traded high at USD1,817.05 per ounce. Gold may find points of support at USD1785.40 and resistance at USD1858.80.
The dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.36% to trade at USD104.25.
Meanwhile on Comex, silver for July rose 2.76% to trade at USD21.58 per ounce while copper for July rose 0.89% to trade at USD4.21 per pound.
