Natural gas futures fell during the US session
Natural gas futures fell during the US session on Wednesday.
According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, natural gas futures contracts were traded in August at USD1.841 per million British thermal units at the time of writing, down 1.87%.
It was pre-traded at a session low USD1.808 per million British thermal units. Natural gas may find support points at USD1.672 and resistance at USD1.924.
The dollar index contracts, which measure the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.46% to trade at USD96.392.
Meanwhile, on the NYMEX, the price of crude oil for August increased by 0.66% to trade at USD40.89 per barrel, while the price of heating oil for August fell by 0.75% to trade at USD1.2340 per gallon.
