Natural gas futures rose during the US session

Natural gas futures rose during the US session on Wednesday.

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, natural gas futures in March were traded at USD5.479 per million British thermal units at time of writing, up 15.32%.

It has already traded a session high of USD5.489 per MMBtu. Natural gas may find support at USD4.230 and resistance at USD7.346.

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.47% to trade at USD95.925.

Meanwhile on Nymex, Crude Oil for March fell 0.57% to trade at USD87.70 a barrel while Heating Oil for March fell 0.11% to trade at USD2.7442 per gallon.
