Biden announces agreement on infrastructure spending plan

US President Joe Biden said as he emerged from a meeting with a bipartisan group of senators on Thursday that agreement had been reached on an infrastructure spending plan.

"We made a deal," he told reporters at the White House, after meeting with members of the so-called Group of 21 seeking a bipartisan agreement on an infrastructure bill.
