US Energy Information Administration: Crude stocks fell, and gasoline rose last week

US stocks of crude oil fell in the latest week, as did distillate stocks, while gasoline inventories rose, the US Energy Information Administration said Wednesday.

Crude inventories fell about 800,000 barrels in the week to November 20 to 488.7 million barrels, while analysts in a Reuters poll expected a rise of 127,000 barrels.

US gasoline stocks grew by 2.2 million barrels to 230.2 million barrels, while analysts in a Reuters poll expected a 614,000-barrel rise.

Distillate stocks, which include diesel and heating oil, decreased by 1.4 million barrels to 142.6 million barrels, while they were expected to decline 1.6 million barrels.
