About 1.5 million barrels per day of US oil production in the Gulf of Mexico is still halted
The US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Protection said on Monday that about 1.5 million barrels per day, or 83.87% of US oil production in the Gulf of Mexico, is still shut down after Hurricane Ida.
He added that 80.78 percent of US natural gas production in the Gulf of Mexico was still suspended.
The office said that 99 oil and gas production rigs are still waiting for their crews to return after they were evacuated because of Ida
