Natural gas futures rose during the United States session

Natural gas futures rose during the US session on Tuesday.

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, natural gas futures contracts were traded in August at USD1.877 per million British thermal units at the time of writing, up 2.57%.

It was previously traded at a session high USD1.923 per million British thermal units. Natural gas may find support points at USD1.655 and resistance at USD1.923.

The dollar index contracts, which measure the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.09% to trade at USD96.767.

Meanwhile, on the NYMEX, the price of crude oil for August increased by 0.17% to trade at USD40.70 per barrel, while the price of heating oil for August decreased by 0.19%, to be traded at USD1.2441 per gallon.
