A member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the US Federal Reserve, James Bullard, said today, Thursday, that emergency measures must be ended for the time being, and he also indicated that some of the rises in inflation rates will be temporary. The following are the most important points contained in the statements of the US Federal Reserve member, Bullard, today:

It is difficult to keep inflation expectations under control.

It is time to end the emergency procedures.

Some of the hikes in inflation are expected to be temporary.

Some of the rises in inflation rates may continue until 2022.

When we start tapering off our monetary stimulus, we don't want to put more restrictions in place to make it happen.

It should be noted that these statements coincide with the continuation of the testimony of the US Federal Reserve Governor, Jerome Powell, before Congress, in which he indicated that monetary policy will not change or withdraw from monetary stimulus until it is confirmed that the bank's goals related to inflation and employment are achieved.
