Wall Street's main stock indexes opened slightly lower on Friday as concerns grew about diminishing stimulus and the economic damage caused by the rise in coronavirus cases.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 45.66 points, equivalent to 0.15 percent, to 29,437.57 points, and the Standard & Poor's 500 Index opened 2.56 points, or 0.07 percent, to 3579.31 points, and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 12.02 points, or 0.1 percent, to 11892.7 points. .
